Exploring Florence from Hotel David

The best way to explore Florence is WALKING, because the center is reasonable small and it's like and open space museum!

If you are good walkers you can leave the hotel in the morning and come back in the afternoon and then relax at the happy hour.

If you want to save some energies, our suggestion is to use the PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, to or from downtown, and it takes less than 5 minutes, or even a taxi (there is a taxi stand next to the hotel). We have the bus stop next door and we sell the bus tickets (you have to buy it in advance; the cost is Euro 1.20 pp to have a 90 minutes pass for any bus in town). Pay attention if you don't have the ticket and you want to buy it on the bus, the same ticket will cost you Euro 2.00 and you need the exact change.
